Throughout history, animals have played a significant role in our lives. They spark joy, they nurture, and they remind us of the magical world we share. Growing up, I was fortunate to have a dog, cats, guinea pig, hamster, turtles, frogs and more. I was fascinated with animals, and they brought so much joy to my life. I understand the gravity they hold in people's lives as well. To have the opportunity to capture their gifts and the feeling they express in their eyes when greeted at the door, is truly gratifying. Beyond our personal companions, is an ecosystem of animals that play a larger role in our world. It would be hard to imagine walking through a forest without the sounds of birds, frogs, and insects. Forests house a magnificent tapestry of species that include an abundance of wonder, a pinch of danger, and a recognition of self. What emotions arise when you encounter animals?
